Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance

Through a partnership with the Foundation for California Community Colleges, Microsoft is offering free access to Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance to eligible students and instructors in disciplines of science, technology, engineering, math, visual, illustration, design, and art.

To access the software, sign into myGateway, and click on the MSDN Academic Alliance link (in the Student Links and Faculty Links channel). If you're enrolled in an eligible class, you will be sent to the download site. If you aren't in an eligible class, look for one in the Cypress College or Fullerton College class schedule and consider registering.

Note that while your license to use the software is perpetual, only academic uses are permitted. So you can keep using the software after you graduate, provided your use is consistent with the license. Commercial use (e.g. developing software with the tools and selling for a profit) is prohibited.

For more information about the program, see the MSDNAA website: www.msdnaa.net
