WebStar link is now a button

Part of myGateway, WebStar is our "self-service" system for registering for classes, posting grades, checking your vacation leave balance and more. While various myGateway channels display information or link into WebStar, we've kept a direct link to the WebStar menu on each of the Student, Faculty and Employee tabs.

But now it's an icon at the top of the page instead, freeing up some space for your other channels and content:

Now that it's a button at the top of myGateway, we are removing the WebStar channel from the default layout. If you've customized your layout, the channel might stay there. You can remove it yourself by clicking the at the top of the WebStar channel. Want to keep the WebStar channel? Add it back to your layout: Click Content Layout at the upper left, click a New Channel button, and find the channel WebStar in category General to add it back:

Depending on who you are, you may also have a few more buttons at the top of your myGateway window:

These will link you to various other systems you have access to, such as iTendance for SCE instructors, Groupwise for District or Cypress College staff, Exchange for people at Fullerton College, and iMail for SCE staff.
