Office 365 Resources in MyGateway

On November 22nd, district staff will be cutting over to the Office 365 suite of products.  There are two big changes that you need to be aware of with the migration:

1. Novell GroupWise email will no longer be supported after November 22nd.  Instead, we will be using Microsoft Outlook 2016 as our email client.

2. We will be upgrading the entire Office suite from Office 2010 to Office 2016.

All of your prior email, contacts, and calendars from GroupWise will be both accessible and fully searchable from within Office 365.

Most of the programs in O365 are products we already use on a daily basis (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the majority of features you use now will largely stay the same.  Still, it is good for everyone who regularly uses these products to brush up on the changes that come with O365 and Office 2016.  Please use the following links at your convenience to familiarize yourself with the new products:

We have rolled out a channel in the MyGateway portal under the Employee tab, titled "District Services O365," with the above links to the information as well.

Lastly, from December 2-4th we will be holding classes in room 307, providing an overview of some of the newer features of Office 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, & Skype).  The class registrations can be accessed via the "District-Wide Staff Development Registration Calendar" which is also available in MyGateway.
