Now the announcements you send to your course or group need not be plain boring text any longer. We've added a rich text editor that lets you easily mark up your text with:
- bold
- italics
- underline
- links to other websites
This is just a start; we plan to enhance this with the ability to edit the text color and formatting too. Here's an example of how it looks:
To access this editor, just click on the "Toggle advanced text editor" link underneath the announcement text box. If you click it again, it will show the HTML code that the editor creates for you as you format your text.
Note: if you use this editor to add links to your text, please specify for the links to Open in a new window, rather than the current window.
